There is a time and a place for decaf.

The time is 'never' and the place is 'in the bin'.

I have been drinking coffee since grade school. I like dark roasts and brew it strong. I have a coffee tattoo. I also drink black tea, black and strong.

Do you really have a coffee tattoo?
That made me laugh.
Is it a cup with steam coming out of it?
Or just the actual word, coffee?

Coffee cup (with a crack in it ) with steam and a hovering demon. I designed it myself. The tattooist made it better!

So, you're saying that decaf should be 'never in the bin?' Angel

While I'll drink most coffees, they must be black and unsweetened. Preferably flavored, but it's not necessary.

If not for coffee, I wouldn't be able to hold a job!

Was almost 30 when I hit 12 Steppers.

Never drank coffee before that, and decided since coffee is a big part of 12 Stepping I was going to start drinking coffee at meetings straight up, no sugar or creamer, just to keep things simpler.

Still enjoy the smell of a funky 100 cup coffee maker that hasn't been properly cleaned since the mid 90s chugging out another batch, but gotta admit, in 30 some years, never hit the point where I really liked it too often.  Yeah, get a crave once in a while, but most meetings don't have any.

There's no coffee in the house now, for instance.

I drink coffee because I love combining coffee and pot for an amped, overclocked vibe. Having a short lived god complex can be quite fun when you’re working in software, a naturally manic-depressive environment (“It works! It doesn’t work! Fuck!”).
