I could post parasite photos that are so, so much grosser than this.
An alarmingly large percentage of Americans have been exposed to or are infected with roundworms from dogs. Not to even mention the other parasites we can pass between people and our pets. It's all part of the fun of living on Earth.

I don't even let them interact with each other. But that is more due to one of them showing strong cannibalistic tendencies. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
I was reading a story last week on the North Korean defector (can't remember if it was the NY Times or The Guardian) and it said the vast majority of South Koreans suffered from parasitic worms up until the 1970s too until the gov't there campaigned to eliminate the problem.
I thought the video of his escape was astonishing. A guy who was shot and already in a weakened state from malnutrition running like the Dickens away from everything he knows to freedom. Just crazy. -Teresa
