I don't know if this topic has been done, it could have even been done by me a long long time ago.
Tom Delonge is crowdfunding some sort of project that I've heard is something to do with time travel/long distance space travel.
He was recently on the Joe Rogan Experience where he was basically made fun of, in a different episode of the Joe Rogan Experience game programmer Mick West was the guest, he's interested in debunking bad science.
They spoke about Tom Delonge as having lost his mind, but then questioned whether that was true or if it was just a scheme to make money. Or if it's a mixture of both.
I just wondered what people's thoughts are. I think it's crazy that he would be in need of the money, and that he would have the gall to brazenly ask for money to crowd fund something, if it is a con it seems like such an obvious one and I'm surprised he isn't more hated than he is.
