Cinematic Death Scenes
#21
RE: Cinematic Death Scenes
An early episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation (Where Silence Has Lease) had a death scene that was really chilling. A being who had no concept of death or human morality casually killed a crew member just to observe him die. The actor sure did a good job. He spasmed and ended up dead in the fetal position with his eyes open and a look of sheer horror on his face.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Adrian Le Cerva on the Sopranos (death was off screen, but we saw enough)

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Reservoir Dogs is in here. Good one, as was Darth Vader, and Platoon

RE: Cinematic Death Scenes
So many violent death scenes in my movie collection, so few spaces for Youtube videos:

So here's all the deaths on one of the greatest series of all time:

The climax of my second-favourite movie (remarkably, #1, A Clockwork Orange does not actually have a proper death scene, just the leadup to Alex impaling the cat lady with a porcelain Weeble cock, Alex jumping from Alexander's second-story window and ending up in traction, a scene where Malcolm McDowell himself almost died, and a brief clip from Cat Ballou that really ends with the girl in question escaping the noose)

And an infamous suicide re-enacted for the camera (and I highly recommend you watch the whole film; you really see the whole thing, because it really gives you context for the whole thing, how this idealistic and sensitive young woman ended up earning immortality for offing herself on live TV):

(For the record, yes, the real video apparently exists, no, it's not available because the only copy confirmed to exist is held under lock and key by an enormous law firm who were given it by the station.)
