Doing street drugs is already illegal, and drug legislation has a way of only making things worse, so making drinking and smoking illegal for pregnant women is likely to backfire horribly.

I should have clarified that by that, I meant it would be another crime on top of the drug use crime itself.

So we give the pregnant women a longer prison sentence then? I'm sure that's just what the baby needed.
