“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure* they are, and were created.” Some, perhaps most, translations say "by thy will" here. Personally I agree with the KJV above.

This is from memory almost sixty years after Catholic infants school.
Who made me? God made me. Why did God make me? God made me to know him, love him, serve him and be happy with him (sing song voice) "For Ever In The Next." At six years old I hadn't learned to read, yet I could recite the catechism in its entirety. Oh how I despise the Catholic Church.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.
