Hello everyone! I’m Kook. I consider myself an agnostic atheist since my deconversion, which officially became reality in mid 2016. I still consider myself very much a baby atheist - to be slightly vulgar, I really don’t think that I have my shit together beliefs wise just yet. Because of that, I expect I’ll be asking a lot of questions here, in an attempt to gain knowledge from like-minded people.
It’s nice to meet you all, and I look forward to getting to know this place.

Welcome! Reasoning your way out of religion can be tough. Any questions, the people here can help.

Hello, there. Consider these words of H. L. Mencken:
Quote:There is no possibility whatsoever of reconciling science and theology, at least in Christendom. Either Jesus arose from the dead or He didn't. If he did, then Christianity becomes plausible; if He did not, then it is sheer nonsense.
Do you think such an absurd miracle is plausible? If not, you're in the right place and among friends.

@The Valkyrie Lol I’m not, I’m born and raised in America - I just swear a lot and “kookaburra” was the first thing that came to mind when brainstorming a username. Though, I’m realizing now, that is definitely gonna be everybody’s immediate assumption.
And thank you for the welcome!

That's assuming they know what a Kookaburra is.
Anyway, welcome fellow American. Where abouts are ya from? Mid-Atlantic here
