Common places of business you've never graced with your patronage?

Chick-fil-A is one for me. It's not really even an ideological thing, it's just every time it goes like this:

"Huh, I could go for a chicken sandwich. Oh right, Chick-fil-A is right across the stree-- shit, it's Sunday."
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

I can't think of a popular chain I haven't been to that's close enough to try. We don't have Hobby Lobby or Chick-fil-A. I probably wouldn't go to them, though. We have Michaels, and I like it. I've been to and donated to Salvation Army before, but I've boycotted them since I realized they are homophobes.

Yeah, I've had some 12 Stepper acquaintances go thru the Salvation Army program (in lieu of jail time) and I've really soured on all things SA.

Never been to In n out Burger.

Steinmart

Only been to Sam's Club once or twice (I got to Costco)

Never set foot on a Disney property.

Never been to a major league football, basketball, hockey or baseball game.

Personally, I've never ordered from Papa John's or Chik-Fil-A or *gasp* Starbucks.

Never patronized any church.

wagamama, it's a uk noodle place.  I'd rather go to an all you can eat.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I went in Starbucks ONCE. I'd go more often but there isn't any nearby.

I've never been in a KFC without my family. But again, I'd go in... if there were one nearby.

I've never been in Papa John's or Chik-Fil-A (which I haven't even heard of) because we don't have them here.

I doubt you've ever been in a Greggs or Costa though, and they're fucking everywhere where I live.

Until recently I'd never been in a Pizza Express. It's pretty fucking mediocre. A long wait, expensive food, and then it's mediocre. I have a local restaurant which I won't name (as there's only one of its kind) that has cheaper food, a shorter wait and the chef is fucking incredible. Best food I've ever had. It's also the highest rated restaurant in my area so I'm not the only one who thinks so. The owner also works at the restaurant and is there most of the time, and is always polite and amicable.... I came back after being there once almost 6 months ago, and he still remembered me and what I ordered. So I know where to go now and where to take people.

Remember what Mencken said about the Salvation Army.

Quote:“The New Deal began, like the Salvation Army, by promising to save humanity. It ended, again like the Salvation Army, by running flop-houses and disturbing the peace.”

— H. L. Mencken

Oh, I've never been to Disney. As a kid, there was no money for that sort of extravagance. As an adult, I'm much less interested.

The homo-bashing chick-a-fillet fast food joint (or whatever it is called). Can't miss what you haven't tried. (The food that is, not the sex.)
