First of all, if this is not appropriate for this message board, please let me know or delete this thread. Causing controversy or breaking any rules is not my intention. I am a Roman Catholic seminarian who will be ordained to the priesthood in May. I am working on a project for one of my seminary classes and am in need of two volunteers to answer some questions for me.

If you could begin by telling me about yourself (age, gender, occupation, married/single/divorced, etc.) and then answer the following questions:

1. How would you define God?
2. Can a person know God? (How?)
3. Who was/is Jesus Christ?
4. What is the biggest problem, in your opinion, facing humankind today?
5. What is (how do you define) sin?
6. How do you feel about the church (and/or Christianity) and why do you feel this way?
7. How would you define the concept of salvation?
8. Do you think that there is only one way to reach God? (Elaborate)
9. What happens after we die?
10. How would you define a Christian?
11. Which is more important to you, knowing God or loving God? Can they be separated?
12. How does a person get to heaven?
13. What is your philosophy of life?
14. What do you think is common to world religions? How do they differ?

Thank you for your help in this regard. Have a great day!

First of all nice copy pasta?. I wonder is copying exam questions plagarism?

Second before I answer any of your questions I have two of my own 1) What are your views on the twin ongoing epidemics of child rape & murder within the rcc? and 2) What are your views on the attempt to cover up these crimes against humanity authorised by the highest authority and carried out with a missionary zeal by his lackeys.

The reason I quit rome was that I could no longer be blind to the sheer and pervasive immorality of the underlying religion and the corruption it causes in its adherents. If you god exists it is our moral duty to do him down.

RE: Questionnaire for seminary project
60, male, retired from medical, multiple monogamist, annoyed at your assumptions. Do you understand how offensive some of these questions are to atheists? However, something tells me that you really don't care.

1. How would you define God?
A delusion created by men.

2. Can a person know God? (How?)
Yes, by believing in the delusion told to them by other men.

3. Who was/is Jesus Christ?
A rabble-rouser who had fantastical stories attributed to him years later for the benefit of the cult.

4. What is the biggest problem, in your opinion, facing humankind today?
Extinction.

5. What is (how do you define) sin?
A part of the delusion. I've also heard that it's killing a mocking bird.

6. How do you feel about the church (and/or Christianity) and why do you feel this way?
Usually on my hands and knees when the lights go out. Why, so I don't injure myself. Christianity is a revenge death cult, read Revelations.

7. How would you define the concept of salvation?
It's the carrot part of the delusion. I think you know what the stick is.

8. Do you think that there is only one way to reach God? (Elaborate)
Yes, by believing in the delusion as told to you by men. (offensive question)

9. What happens after we die?
Fertilizer at best. Hopefully some of my organs will be transplanted.

10. How would you define a Christian?
Delusional. Seeing a pattern yet?

11. Which is more important to you, knowing God or loving God? Can they be separated?
This is another one of the offensive questions.

12. How does a person get to heaven?
They don't. This is just the golden ticket promised by men for manipulation. I hear that Catholics can try to buy the ticket that does not exist.

13. What is your philosophy of life?
Live it the best that I can for me and those around me and to continue the species.

14. What do you think is common to world religions? How do they differ?
Delusion. Differ, they all have their own peculiar twist on the delusion.

I doubt you got the answers you expected, or maybe you did, ya know, coming from a heathen and all. If you're really concerned about what atheists think and feel you should probably hang around and just talk to us. Questions out of context like this tend to piss me off.

Edit: I see that you seem to be pissing other people off also.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Getting tired of answering these impersonal questionaires where we never see the poster again; therefore, I'm not answering these questions.

Your loaded questions suck ass. Come back when you really want to get to know us, and not just to help you guys learn more on how to convert people like us to your faith.
