Hammy, I would say that to anyone, and have. Even outside the web, I have been in a passenger in cars who should not have been driving.
Far too many people suffer from sample rate and selection bias, and figure, they made it home once so they will always make it home.
I am not singling her out. Just a friendly reminder.
It is not what you want to do, just do it safely. Nothing wrong with that.

Yep. Telling someone to be careful or not to drink and drive has the same connotation as telling someone to have a safe trip when they have a long drive somewhere. It's just a thoughtful and nice thing to say.
