Don't believe the jokes of the Sauds.
The Saudi current king and his son are trying to survive with any means necessary, and the result is "Vision 2030" and the "NEOM Project". Saudi Arabia don't have the skills or the knowledge to lead such ambitious -if not imaginary- projects, even their weaponry is bought from the outside. The kingdom has nothing but cash. And cash itself began to evaporate now between the thievery of the king's son, to the failed visions and projects, up until the failed wars (Yemen and Qatar). Saudi Arabia is doomed, don't let the "Whiskey allowance dreams" and the "Stripping of Niqab" fool you and "The driving of women" deceive you. They just got hit so hard on the head due to their acts and abuse of human rights for the last 100 years. They are doomed. NEOM and vision 2030 are just to give the masses a shiny toy to discuss while MBS robs the treasury of the land before 2030. RE: NEOM

It'd be nice if everything in SA could improve all at once under a benevolent and representative government that wasn't robbing people blind...but..failing that, baby steps. Calming down with the islamist horseshit is an improvement in human rights anyway.
IMO, curbing islamism and promoting sustainable developments (even operated as a front) is a good start.

Doesn't Saudi Arabia have massive unemployment problems? Sounds like they should focus their energies on domestic policy before promoting this pie in the sky nonsense.
