The Awakening.
#11
RE: The Awakening.
If such a creature as a god existed then we would all know what it is. Instead we are expected to believe what some twits imagined it to be without even knowing who the twits were that came up with their delusions were. All gods are imaginary. There's no evidence that the twits who came up with them actually existed. Essentially it's like believing that Robin Hood created Islam in Mexico City 2,500 years ago.

Yeah, probably... although, it seems to skip a beat once in a while. Valk, should I come see you?

Actually, with each day that passes, I'm getting nearer to The Great Slumber.

A god is a being worthy of worship, and worship is a relative level of valuing. That which you value most, that which you cherish most, that is a god. Some people valuing many things near the same level, that is called polytheism.

The thing is what we value most, is probably the central indicator to who we are.  If there is a thing to be valued most, there is two ways to go about it, objectively find out what that is or just simply chaotically choose what we want to worship.

Philosophy disagrees.
Have you tried reading some Plato or Aristotle?

At the heart of the battle, is what is our potential.  We can seek guidance of what we are and who we are, or we can again chaotically choose who we think we are and what our potential always.

So... are you trying to say that we are more than biological machines?

Is there is a spiritual world. What makes up reality. Is it spiritual conscious, spoken words or ideas of God or is it material. How do we know and is it worth knowing?

Again, read about philosophy and metaphysics.... and then I might tell you a bit about flaws in it.

We were mix of a sperm and egg, and became an embryo, and came out eventually to this world. We can say no one has immense knowledge, but what if someone on earth has knowledge to the degree they can warp an entire throne in a twinkle of an eye?

How do we know and how can we connect to this person?  One way to react is to say such a person would display his powers and miracles today. But is this true? Or is the hiding of the sign up for God to decide?

Is there someone who has a great imagination?
I think the word you're after is: nerd.
Comic book nerd... no one has more knowledge of outer worlds.... and these tend to know quite a bit about the quantum world, too, the inward world.

(May 31, 2018 at 11:15 pm)MysticKnight Wrote: 5. Why is the world the way it is?

Corruption and havoc has appeared outwardly and inwardly, something is wrong, this world is in a fallen state. Why is this world like this, and what is the solution?

Does that question make sense?
Does it presuppose a thinking agent that has a reason to assemble the world the way it is? I think that question is loaded like that... so, the best answer is: N/A

We make like to make our own paradigm of what proof of God would look like, but at the end, what we imagine may or may not prove God. If God is to be proven and the true God proven, it's not up to us to choose what represents him nor the proof of what and who he is.

Here's a clue into how things are discovered:
1. detect a thing
2. try to fit thing into a catalog of known things
3. if 2 fails, expand catalog

Here's how you're trying to go about it
1. propose thing exists
2. argue that thing explains psychological phenomena, as well as unexplained physical events
3. prove thing exists.

Your way is bound to fail, except for someone who is preconditioned into accepting the premise.

There is a battle between the truthful and deceivers, the justice seekers and corruption causers, and although good and evil stand apart, when clarified, in the confusion, we are going to be got in the chaos of the manipulators, and the truthful will be abandoned.

To the best of my knowledge, people usually think they are doing good... at least, for themselves.
This means that your concept of good presupposes some overarching goodness.

What we can observe in society is that the whole of society has a fairly even concept of goodness, with a few individuals straying from that concept, while being convinced that they are within it, or that they have extenuating circumstances, or that the end result is better... or they're just psychopaths.

Our individual inability to understand how such a shared concept comes about through a completely natural mechanism like evolution has led to inventing an external entity bestowing said concept unto mankind.

1. Rise up for the sake of God and Reflect!

Say: I exhort you only to one thing, that rise up for Allah's sake in twos and singly, then ponder: there is no madness in your fellow-citizen; he is only a warner to you before a severe chastisement. (34:46)

From the perspective that the Quran is true, there is one thing needed for humans to realize it's true. To rise up for the sake of God then to reflect.

As it is a guidance, if a person is sincerely coming there for the sake of God whether they know he exists or don't, whether they believe in Quran or don't, if they rise up for his sake, to know really if he exists and find out, and see if Quran can guide them, with reflection it's saying it surely will.

Furthermore, as proofs were available and guidance readily there to facilitate guidance to the individual, when Messengers are sent to the world:

And they will add: "Had we but listened [to those warnings], or [at least] used our own reason, we would not [now] be among those who are destined for the blazing flame!"(67:10)

All Messengers really require people is when presenting proofs, rather then stubbornly denying, to really digest the message.  If that happens with the Spirit of God (name of God), then there will be no doubt to the Quran being from God, Lord of the nations.

If there is a burden of proof for God to prove himself, or Messengers to show they are truthful, then all we are asked in regard to that is to approach them for the sake of God and then to reflect!

Use our minds and everything will be clear.

MK seriously, how many times have you told us you were going to leave, only to come back.

You don't have to leave, as far as the admins and mods here are concerned you haven't broken the terms of service, as far as I know. But you are a broken record.

I've seen you many times here on the cusp of getting reality, but then you backslide into the romance of it all.

I PROMISE MK, nothing bad will happen to you, you won't burn in a fictional hell, if you realize you bought a bad product.

There is no Allah, just like Ann McCarthy never had any interest in dating me. There is no Jesus or Yahweh, just like I have no chance at dating Angelina Jolie.

Reality is quite filling to me, without old books of mythology. You can face reality too, and if you do, you will find life far more amazing than old books written by scientifically ignorant humans.
