I'd say that there were enough MDs in the room to make a decision about when to stop. I was told that once I started CPR I should not stop until other medical help arrived. But if that help was sufficiently medically trained, they could make a determination that stopping was the best thing to do. Given my physical condition after two hand surgeries, I'm not certain that I'd even start CPR on a person, since I wouldn't be able to do it for long. I used to be able to pick up 4-cylinder engines unassisted and put them into the engine compartment, and lift automatic transmissions up onto my chest under a car and bench press them into position. Now, I have a tough time with loosening and tightening lug nuts on wheels, and lifting 60 pound sacks of concrete. I gotta find a way out of this weak shit.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
