To be foolishly pedantic, he didn't 'pardon' her, which would be vacating her conviction.  He commuted her sentence to time served.  She's still a convicted drug trafficker, which she would not be had he granted her a pardon.

That being said, I agree that the commutation was just, irrespective of whatever his motives may have been.

Ah, I wasn't sure if it was a pardon or not. I read some letter her kid wrote that called it a pardon or I misremembered. Either way, he had something to do with something that was the completely right thing to do.

He skins make adaquate lining for the cesspit. His mouth is ideally shaped to receive the toilet drain. His hair is a power argument for shampoo, and the end of his tenure gives faith to those who thinks thing can only get better from now on.
