Agnosticism

I don't believe in the brutal God of Christianity who uses his Magical powers to hurt people in afterlife.
But I still believe that there is some kind of God, especially when all good believers try so hard to earn ticket in to heaven. Are those sincere seekers are wasting their whole life's for a illusion?
Does any of you transitioned from agnostic to atheist?

Most atheists -are- agnostics..for the billionth time, lol.
