I'm just the opposite - I sometimes enjoy a light snack between bites.

I'm on the "seafood" diet.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

No, I only eat food that starts with C. Chocolate, cakes, curry, chips, crisps, and so on.

I read in a news article on BT.dk that keeping a sturdy eating schedule/pattern instead of calculating calories or what have you, was more effective in keeping a steady weight than anything else that one could do.

Basically, if you had a eating schedule and stuck to that schedule, foregoing snack-eating and whatever, you would have an easier time losing weight. This is, of course, if you have a realistic schedule, that you can follow and has a net calorie loss.

Not a fan of any kind of fasting.

Regular meals in moderation is my preference.

Of course, if my patients saw my diet after I tell them what they shouldn't be eating and then refer them to a dietition, they'd rebel and try to string me up...

RE: Intermittent fasting
I tried all this shit and I just got bored of it.

I've got to the point now where I think if I can't see myself following a particular diet for the rest of my life there's no point in doing it at all.  If it's unreasonable that I'll keep it up month after month then I'll just lose any benefits it gave me pretty quick.

I just got into a long term relationship and have a whole load of other responsibilities now so I'm even less motivated to get truly shredded.  With my seemingly genetic disposition to stay at a pretty decent body fat percentage it takes way too much effort to get very very lean, with little true health benefits and it's also very short term because as I said, I always go back to eating what I want eventually.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I love IF, it is the only diet I have ever done that has worked and I find it incredibly easy to stick to. I do a version of the warrior diet, I don't eat until dinner time I just carry around a jug of water all day and then at dinner I eat regularly, no need to count calories. Dropped 20 pounds in a month, then once you reach your desired weight you can be less intense with the fasting and just maintain. It is hard for the first week but then you just get used to it and it becomes routine, for anyone who struggles with weight loss this is guaranteed to work.

Isn't the peak for eating is lunch. Food needs to be processed for many hours and digestion while sleeping, I think, is worse then digestion in the middle of the day. I have breakfast or lunch and before I go sleep I'm already done with digestion. Anyway, I feel awesome with eating only lunch.

Not sure but it seems to work fine for me, I find that I sleep better and have less cravings eating just dinner. Usually during the day I have plenty of distractions with work so it's easy to skip meals, the short window between eating dinner and going to bed doesn't leave a lot of room for snacks so it helps me stay disciplined.
