Well the judge declared a mistrial on those 10 counts, so Mueller can try them again in hopes of getting a better jury the second time around.

Well the good thing is you had 11 other jurors who wouldn't let that one pull the same shit on all the charges. Plus he has another trial in DC coming up.

Here is my bet, Manafort will flip before the second trial.

Not sure he needs to do that. Especially if Manafort flips before the DC trial.

Kinda like a serial killer gets convicted of 5 murders but they know there are more bodies.

Manafort is facing serious time being his age with what he could get just on these 8 charges. And again, that is not including his upcoming trial.

If I was his lawyer I'd say stop the bleeding and flip.

But yea, I wouldn't feel sorry for him if he was re tried on the other 10 charges..

Every jury I've served on has had at least one knucklehead. My first service was on a murder trial, and a couple of people reconstructed the scene like they were on TV, making all kinds of shit up. We were deadlocked 6 and 6, so it was declared a mistrial. I can understand not believing some evidence, but living in a fantasy does not a good juror make.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

I bet if the jury had been all accountants and tax lawyers it would have been a conviction sweep.

That's true, but it's also questionable as to whether he has anything the prosecution wants.

I can't be on a jury. I am sad.

I'd put every dollar I have on the fact that Trump will pardon every idiot convicted on his behalf as he leaves office.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I was called for jury duty in San Diego once. I showed up in a suit with a gun and a badge. (Federal issue, all three.) They sent me home.
