"Barging in seems dangerous. I'll check it out."

You were informed there's a gang that smuggles opium, and they'd have a lot of cash on them.

Khah heads to the house, trying to be quiet, and peers in the windows trying not to be seen.

Move Silently -> 1d20+13 = 23
Hide -> 1d20+13 = 35
Spot -> 1d20+0 = 1

He goes to the back of the house...

Climb -> 1d20+3 = 10
Search -> take 20 = 26
Disable Device -> 1d20+7 = 19

Move Silently -> 1d20+13 = 33
Hide -> 1d20+13 = 28
Spot -> 1d20+0 = 3

Khah comes back about 15 minutes later. "The upstairs seems empty. The two of them are in the front room, arguing about how to proceed. Cathi wants to skip town and Amylda wants to figure out who we are and put a hit on us."

"Good their alone." He looks at the crew "How shall we proceed? I say we have one man cover the rear and the others threw the front. I'm not much use without my spells outside my cunning wit. But I saw we take them and take them hard. But I feel a swift death would be to light for the likes of these two."

"Maybe Khah could point me at the window he used to spot the 2, and I could toss a glitter bomb into them right before Simon charges through the front with you in tow?

No I got it; you and I enter behind Simon, through the front, and Khah sneak attacks 'em from behind, having come through the back door. Simon will charge at them hard, while we stutter-step our way in, so the glitter bitch can't blind us all at once. Thoughts?

Khah just reported they're thinking of contracting a hit on us, so of course we kill them. I don't care how much they suffer, so long as they die before calling an assassin down on us."

"I didn't see them through the window. I went in through the second story, and crept part way down the stairs before I saw them. I can tell you what room the were in, and there are a couple of windows down there, with the curtains drawn. Those windows don't seem to open. They're all stained glass with metal frames."

"That's by design. We didn't want people just busting in the windows on the house."

Spellweavers are crafty , disabling them before they do it to us, again .. in the same night .. *sigh* may be the best way at this point to subdue our lawless enemies within

"If they're in the front room, the easiest way to get in quietly is if I just unlock the back door.

That being said, if I help you with this, and help you take them down, I want you to let me go. I'll show you where everything is hidden in the house, take 2,000 gold, and I'll leave town within the week."

Erus raises an eyebrow at the little man. "Fine. But you will only reseve gold if they are subdued. And you tell us there other locations."

"Alright. I'll help subdue them and show you the other two stashes. I also get the opium. You can have all the gold, other than the 2,000. There should be between 10,000 and 20,000 left after I get my two."

Erus sneers attempting to force a smile. "You drive a hard bargain. " he looks to his crew giving a look of can you "believe this guy" swaying his hand gingerly in the air tell the rest of the party to move in.

If you’re ready, Darykis unlocks the back door.
