No need to hate "Christmas". It is an ancient Pagan holiday which celebrates the Winter Solstace and the start of the New Solar Year. In addition to commemorating the end of one year and the start of annother, the ancients were celebrating the return of longer days and the "victory of light and warmth over darkness and cold". There is nothing Christian about it, so there is no need to get bent-out-of-shape about it.

I do that enough as it is. Perhaps I'll gift myself with a new way to do it. There's a particular toy that promises to teach me new ways to appreciate AC/DC AND entertain myself...
