I am British (England) born and raised. Currently living in the south rent-free in an absolute dive lol (well, it's a bit better now I've sorted the plumbing/boiler and decorated a few of the rooms) on the understanding I'll do the place up. I've lived in squats before so I can take it.

There is a famous brand of choc chip cookies branded "Maryland" here - they're in the shop opposite. I won't lie, I'd have to google where either of your hometowns are in the USA. Oh the shame lol

My hometown would be Baltimore, Maryland.

OMG I didn't even know they're states. I literally just facepalmed myself. I've always had a real blindspot when it comes to geography, not that that's a valid excuse. Baltimore...tune.
