Black-and-whiting of photographs bothers me a whole lot less than the colourization of black and white films.

Like it or don't: it's personal.
I do like it. A lot.
It's a technique that can work in tandem with others to evoke more emotion , but of course it can't appeal to everyone.

I've wondered why the photog in "Kong: Skull Island" took pictures in B&W.

I sometimes find that converting to black and white can make a so so boring image much more interesting.
