That got him banned. We don't have many rules, but you are expected to follow them after a mod officially makes you aware of them.

I also would have cited the first rule of the forum.

Welcome anyway.

Complaining?  Seems more like boasting.  Just saying.

That would be more accurate.

She posted that a consequence of putting a mod on ignore is that I wouldn't be able to receive PMs from them, and that I would be responsible for not receiving their PMs. The reason that I placed Dom on ignore is that she was continuing to troll the AOC thread, and refused to discuss the issue that she clearly wanted to discuss very badly in the appropriate thread that I started specifically to discuss the issue that Dom was trolling the AOC thread with. If you troll my threads with off topic nonsense, I put you on ignore.

Friendly suggestion: drop the drama and start fresh.  That is, if you care about your interactions on these forums being successful. This carry-over from AD is leaving a bad taste in our mouths.

So, you're bragging about being enough of a jackass to get banned from a forum?  Just want to be clear on this.

It is certainly not my intention to place bad tastes in your mouth. But I'm not responsible for your tastes. You like what you like. You don't like what you don't like. I'm not responsible for your likes and dislikes. I don't know what you mean by successful interactions on your forum. Am I successful if a bunch of people like me? I don't really care about that. Like me. Don't like me. It's not my problem. I have noticed that forums are a place where a lot of people crave being liked. Then the forum becomes a clique with delusions of popularity in a ghost town.

If you don't like people who don't care whether you like them or not, you probably aren't going to like me. It's not my intention to make you dislike me. But approval seeking is death to forums.

No I am bragging about standing up for liberal values against illiberal moderators.

In my experience as a moderator, usually this does not bode well. My advice is to drop it and start anew here, its your chance to introduce yourself, whatever happened, happened.

I don't think talking down about people from another forum, is a conduit for good discussion, It's my personal opinion, not as a mod.

A classic characteristic of a troll is the boasting about being so obnoxious on a forum that they are banned from that forum. We have a textbook case here.
