None of the forum's atheists stepped in to disagree with her. They gave her posts lots of kudos.

Since then, Trump has been openly and rabidly Islamophobic. My guess is that the people who were giving kudos to that rabidly Islamophobic woman who wanted to nuke Iran don't remember doing that. They have conveniently forgotten their own Islamophobic rants. Trump made atheists tolerant of Muslims.

Funny, I was on the atheist (no capital "A") forum at Amazon for years, and I don't recall the event you describe.  It never happened.  What I *do* recall is that atheists constantly called you out on your bullshit.  It appears that you brought it over here.

I remember you, but I don't recall you spending much time in the Atheist Forum. You spent most of your time in the Religion Forum. You said the same things over and over again, in every single discussion in the Religion Forum, regardless of the topic of the discussion, for year after year. As I recall, about the only time that you posted in the Atheist Forum was when you found an especially dumb theist in the religion forum who was an easy target. You posted the things that they said in the humor thread about stupid things that theists say.

And your point is ?
Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.

Personally, I've never had an issue with Muslims.  When I was a kid, I though it was bizarre that they did their worshippy stuff on Friday mornings (the Muslims of my acquaintance were virtually all Pakistanis) and I was a little jealous of that.  Da used to trade with them on a regular basis.  When their families came to the farm on business, we played with their kids.  No huhu.

My association with Muslims, in a Muslim country goes back 50 years in March this year. These days it's Muslim neighbours and  I see some around my suburb. I have never had a bad experience with a Muslim.

Muslim theology is(to me) a far more rational than Christian fruit loopery.. The religion is no more 'war like' than any other. I'll say yet again; all religion, without exception, reflects the culture which invents it. The violent culture  of Arab tribal society used the broad notion of 'jihad' (literally 'struggle') to justify wars, then and now..

Christians have  always used their faith to justify violent, evil behaviour. EG slavery, the crusades, and finally the holocaust. That would not have been possible without at least the tacit cooperation of millions of 'good Christian' Germans and Eastern Europeans..

I can pick the precise moment the current islamophobia began:    Sept 11 2001.

I stood in my lounge watching the attack on the Twin Towers . I was horrified but not at all surprised.. My perception at that time was that America was the most feared  and hates nation on earth. What was surprising to me was that such an attack hat not happened a lot sooner.

With 9/11, America had a collective nervous breakdown. With it  came the phrase 'Muslim terrorist' used as a single word.

That was the beginning. Since that time, the hysterical, mindless bigotry of the phrase as spread throughout the developed world. It has  even been used to justify  current, popular anti Islamic  government policies in Oz.

Yet more of your bullshit.
Disappointing theists since 1968!
