Islamophobiaphobia and a massage.
I'm afraid of Islamophobics and I need a back rub.

RE: Islamophobiaphobia and a massage.
The Atheist forum at Amazon Discussions was off the charts Islamophobic. I recall one rabidly Islamophobic woman who argued vigorously for a tactical nuclear strike against Tehran. She didn't care at all how many completely innocent people would be murdered by a strike like that, and didn't seem to feel that there were any innocent Muslims. None of the forum's atheists stepped in to disagree with her. They gave her posts lots of kudos.

Since then, Trump has been openly and rabidly Islamophobic. My guess is that the people who were giving kudos to that rabidly Islamophobic woman who wanted to nuke Iran don't remember doing that. They have conveniently forgotten their own Islamophobic rants. Trump made atheists tolerant of Muslims.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Personally, I've never had an issue with Muslims.  When I was a kid, I though it was bizarre that they did their worshippy stuff on Friday mornings (the Muslims of my acquaintance were virtually all Pakistanis) and I was a little jealous of that.  Da used to trade with them on a regular basis.  When their families came to the farm on business, we played with their kids.  No huhu.

Having been on line almost every day since 2001, and having conversed with people all over the world, you are absolutely right. It is bat shit insane to suggest a nuclear strike at all, by any side. Morons who don't understand this implication scare the shit out of me.

My X wife is from Japan, and regardless of our parents and grandparents being on opposite sides of that war, you are not going to get me vilify entire groups just because I may not like the governments another live under. I have meet former Muslims from Saudi Arabia and Iran online, and even people still living in those places whom do not like the governments they live under still. I currently have an atheist friend who lives in Pakistan who hates his government and hates Trump as much as I do.

Point is, it is insane to think with an iron fist when it comes to use of nukes. Once that starts the entire planet gets affected and nobody is safe.

Funny, I was on the atheist (no capital "A") forum at Amazon for years, and I don't recall the event you describe.  It never happened.  What I *do* recall is that atheists constantly called you out on your bullshit.  It appears that you brought it over here.
Disappointing theists since 1968!
