Trump and the One Percent...

RE: Trump and the One Percent...
Trump is just another number in the statistic of being rich materialistically and socially while being poor monetarily.

Actually, the issue is Trump's lying about himself and others, including about us Democrats.  He repeatedly and deliberately misrepresents his own achievements and our stated positions and intentions.

Seems like you've bought into some of it too.

examples? did he lie about going bankrupt in the 90s? then why is this being examined?

Because A) literally every other President (and I'm fairly certain most presidential candidates) since Jimmy Carter has released their tax returns to the public except Trump, B) a lot of Trump's base (yourself included, IIRC) seems to think that Trump's expertise in business will lead to prosperity for the US as a whole, and there's a lot of concerning evidence, including these tax returns, that he doesn't even have that, and C) Trump has proven time and time again he can't be trusted.

"Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler on Monday said that President Trump has now eclipsed the 10,000 lie mark during his tenure in the White House.
'He's now hit 10,000,' Kessler said Monday in an appearance on CNN. 'That's an average of about 23 false or misleading claims a day in the last seven months.' "

But Trump is claiming he didn't lose billions in the 80s and 90s.  And we don't know if he's 'restored his fortune'.  We have only his word that he's restored it, and his word is about as useful as a fart in a spacesuit.

Boru

He didn't loose meaning gone. as the government is crediting him the money back via taxes.

People like that have a different view of life and business. it doesn't make them a liar it makes you ignorant.otherwise if you saw life as he did you would also be a billionaire.

Your lot in life does not define nor does it mandate every other living being must agree to your world view. If we only saw what you see we would all have the same things be bad at the same thing and have the same job. Your world view places you in your station of life. like wise your command of the language and your world view demand you seek out others who think like you do...

Any of them billionaires? why? because they think like you think.they see bankruptcy as a loss only. Men like trump see it as a way of washing debt and earning 40% more because taxes will be lifted.

That 40% credit is the same as making money because even though you made the money it is not really yours as you are an agency of the state and the state owns that 40% unless you have been given a tax break, which trump did get when he showed such a loss.

So to him long term he has made his money back several times over by not owning personal income tax.

Former FBI Director James Comey: "The President of the United States cannot be someone who lies constantly. I thought Republicans agreed with that. It's one of the reasons I'm no longer a Republican. I hope the American people will realize we have to start at that values level no matter what our political background and answer that question first."

1) trump is Audited every year as are all majr companies. the IRS has personel dedicated to trump and all they do all year is go over trumps taxes. in turn Trump has a platoon of tax lawyers to make sure he keeps as much as he legally can. there are several agencies with dozens of people scrutinizing Trump's taxes from both sides... what the "F" do you think you are going to do with his return? You understand the man does not file a 1040EZ right? Hell I only make 10th of 1% what he does and my taxes fill bxes every quarter. So you will have to depend on a source like MSNBC to tell you what to think... The same people who have you all up in arms about him loosing billions that do not have any bearing on the world today, today's economy or today's stock market.

Do you really thin CNN is going to find something the IRS hasn't?

All the will do is spin numbers and try and devalue the president. like it or not his negotiations have tremendously benefited this country and his ablity to do so is in large part because he is known as a titan of industry and respected by countries as a businessman.

Take that away and you take away his unspoken mojo when dealing with other world leaders lik kim Il sung. Fore all of those guys are politicians and trump admittedly is not. all he has is his business reputation. If he fails WE FAIL. Meaning if His tactics are not believed or his intergity is called into question with someone like kim sung... then all hell breaks loose. If he looses we loose

Again, WHO cares about his taxes an why?

THAT IS WHAT THE IRS IS FOR, Let The IRS do It's Job and Trust He is not getting away with anything!

Drich, you do know I can say the exact same fucking thing about the Hillary Clinton emails you harped on about earlier in this thread that you said about Trump’s tax returns, right? That they’re just shit the average person can do nothing with?

And that literally every other presidential nominee since 1976 has released their tax returns, signaling a severe lack of transparency that does not bode well for our being able to trust him?

Your president. Voted in because of his business record.

This is like voting in Jimmy Saville on his record of child care.
