The prick stayed just outside my 50 yard stakes.... I won' t take a shot further than that. With a bow....
But the prick did tempt me......
Mmmm, what would you then do in this situation?

Saw an interesting story in the NY Times this morning. It seems that roughly 80% of deer in the wild might be infected with SARS-CoV-2.
Not a good thing to have a reservoir of infection for a deadly disease on your patio...

Of course, every infectologist will tell you not to go near wild animals. For example, most apes and monkeys have SIV which turns into HIV when it enters humans, and SIV may have previously crossed the species barrier into human hosts multiple times throughout history.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Which leads to the next question...Who in their right minds allows chickens and pigs to wander through their house? (It's a common practice in many developing countries.)
