Yeah for the most part what I understand about God is also what I believe about Him. Your question is just a difficult one to wrap my mind around because I do think of them of being together and separating and dissecting them into different parts and pieces is a foriegn process to me. Jesus said, "I and the Father are one". The word "one" is not qualified into the theology of 'essence'. The 'essence' of God is purely theological and unsupportable using His simple Word. Jesus also said, "How long have you known me Phillip?' "The ones who have been seeing me, have been seeing the Father!' "How is it you ask me, 'show to us the father'?"
According to the Hebrew thinking, "Father" means: the head of the house. NOT DADDY! I'm, just sorry but: is Jesus the Head of the house?! Which Paul said, "Who's house we are"?
Trinity, sminity, Spirit smear it!
Bill! You can't 'blaspheme" 'the Holy Spirit'! Well, neither can you because it doesn't exist! "pneuma" translated as 'Spirit' means, from the Greek, pnoE = breath, with the ma ending refers to the pnoE's state or effect. IT refers to God's Word; that if you breath it in as an external source of info, through the study of it, it WILL have an effect! God's Word is not a "Spirit"! It is not 'your' spirit and it is NOT thee "Holy Spirit"! Such thinking will rob you of your God given power as His son! Which no church teaches! Do you want the power God promised to you in this life? Or the magic sky God? With spirit, spiritual, spirituality? Don't be a lame believer getting our ass kicked. Be a trustworthy one of God kicking ass!

- How would you describe your own religious background and church involvement?
- How would you describe God?

- What do you think it takes to be straightened out (or made right) with God?
- How would you describe Jesus?
- What are your thoughts about churches today?
If you have any questions for me I would be happy to answer them to the best of my ability, just list them at the end of your response to these questions.
1. I walk past a church daily, and can see one from my bedroom window
2. I really wouldn't
3. living it, have it be somewhat interesting and with only moderate amounts of pain
4. If I met God, we would sit down with a bottle of single malt, and by the time that's finished, I'm sure a lot of things would be cleared up.
5. The historical figure or the literary one?
6. Do you mean church buildings or congregations or branches?
---
I have one question for you - what purpose do you think this assignment serves?
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Let me tell you: the questions you are asking (you were given) are still extremely loaded and biased. They make a lot of assumptions and show prejudices of the author. They take God, Jesus etc. as a given. This way, you won't get unbiased information about what people think of Christianity.

Yeah, I don't particularly enjoy the assignment either, because it could be better designed to actually gauge anything about people, not much I can do but suggest they change it for next year.

1. Raised Catholic, but I got better. I'm occasionally involved with local churches if they're raising money for a cause I agree with.

2. Tall, strong and bearded. Goes about lumbered with a club, a cauldron and a harp. Usually has a couple of pigs in attendance.

Perhaps the questions would be better worded as follows:
If applicable, how would you describe your own religious background and/or church involvement? n/a if not applicable at all.
If there was something that you would consider to be God, how would you describe such a being?
What do you think is important in life?
If there was something that you would consider to be God, what do you believe would be required (if at all) to be made right with God? n/a if you believe nothing is required to be made right with God.
If you believe Jesus existed, how would you describe him? How would you describe Jesus as depicted in the New Testament?
What are your thoughts about churches today?

The first question should be "Are you a theist?". If the answer is no the interview should stop. If you continue then any further questions regarding god/religion would contain bias.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
