He was basically saying that black people are inferior because they're more prone to dying from things like sarcoidosis and sickle cell anaemia.  No attempt to point out cultural or economic factors.  Sort of like saying that if you live in Siberia you're more prone to frostbite, which makes you not as good as people who live in Fiji.

That is fucking bullshit on the OP'S part. I agree, it is racist crap.

It is true depending on geography and economics and genetics that different groups are prone to different things. But that does not make an entire race inferior. I am white, once I found my biological family, I learned about all the health issues we have. Skin color has nothing to do with it.

We spent a couple of weeks there several years ago. Loved it.  If it wasn't for the political instability (they seem to have a military coup every time things seem on the verge of  settling down), we'd seriously consider a move.

I went so many places I couldn't pick one if I tried. It would have to have Italy for the food, Kenya for the critters, Chile for the mountains, YAH!!! Banghead endless bits from endless places. Best grilled goat cheese sandwich, Cyprus!

When I was young, my parents took me to Europe, and all over America. As an adult I went to Mexico, Japan, and most recently Australia.

When you grow up exposed to diversity, you you learn that humans are the same no matter where you go. 

There are great people worldwide, great food worldwide, but unfortunately also insecure dicks who cant see we are not a separate species.
