It seems the other half the wonder twins has graced us with their presence.
DNA isn't a code and perhaps you'd best explain this "arbitrary" nature you're going on about. Doesn't sound particularly divine to me.
For that matter you should explain why we're mucking about with biochemistry at all and why you aren't fuelled by Divine Will itself. Face it, you're a walking sack of what looks suspiciously like dirty seawater for a good reason. It would be pretty remarkable if it didn't fit after a few billion years of coevolving, much of this time with many generations per year.
