A horse sounds about right since macroevolution operates above the species level. The spawning of a new species of flies through the criteria of reproductive isolation, is not macroevolution, it's speciation at best.

You can use big words to disguise a steaming pile of horseshit but it won't make it smell any sweeter.

Agreed; I don't mind calling phylogenies unscientific. But since they are testable in theory, not in practice, they remain technically falsifiable and scientific.
