Alex, Geddy, and Neil are just fucking fantastic musicians. They are the greatest band in the land! Sadly though, Alex is criminally underrated.

Calling RUSH the greatest band of all time (and I don't deny that they're very, VERY good) leaves out such ground-breaking groups as The Bay City Rollers and the Holy Modal Rounders.

If I am to clarify, I think of RUSH as the greatest band ever in the overall sense of their musical prowess and how even across the board it is. Sure, other bands exist with remarkably talented musicians. Zeppelin is another band that fits into this elite level of bands, as is Tool. RUSH however, is my favorite.

The Beatles might just be the greatest, in the sense of their overall impact.
