The carbon footprint of soccer

The carbon footprint of soccer
I'm watching Liverpool (England) VS Flamengo (Brazil) in the FIFA club world club final, held in Qatar. It's just gone to extra time. Attendance in the stadium is reported to be 45,000. Don't get me wrong, it's been a great game and I'm loving it, yet HOW MANY FLIGHTS?! to attend the game? I'm a bit like the XR Grinch that tried to steal Xmas...perhaps. #flygskam

The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
