Was it an Aussie car? Not sure. Maybe Leyland may have made them (or assembled them) here for a short period...
Or maybe they were just exported from the UK to the rest of the world... They weren't that fugly imo ...Just very underpowered and unreliable. Typical UK car design lol

Never produced in the UK though there are similarities to a few Leyland monstrosities from the '70s.
