The future's flag

The future's flag
--
Fear was immense since they never knew the unknown
The worry brought a familiar feeling though, realized and known

Winds howling, giving the flag of events a shaky wave
It was either an implicit indication or a quick naked face

The flag didn't show anything else on its two sides
Though useless, masses gathered to read what it has to say

Or accurately what it had to show;
What the howling wind managed to draw

It wasn't meant for the flag to prophecies,
But it was always meant for the masses to flip the dice

So they can read the instant of a flag's face
Then assume they read the whole truth

They shoot without shame
In the name of a piece of dirt
For a change of accent
Or the color of your shirt
Better the pride that resides
In a citizen of the world
Than the pride that divides
When a colorful rag is unfurled

I like the flow.

But this is what also I have hated about my fellow poets stuck in the past.

Just like a stage Illusionist. I hate those who think by directly telling you what the meaning means, or how the magic trick works, you are destroying something.

If someone saws a woman in half(the illusion), how does it detract from their creativity if they tell me how they did it?

If you give me your meaning of this poem it won't automatically destroy my appreciation for it.

What was your intent and meaning when you wrote this?

I like the flow. But what is your ultimate statement in a couple of sentences?

There has never been
One flag
As old as the universe

There has never been
One human
Who has
Defied death

But there is
Only one species
And none of us
Will defy death

I am not a flag waver myself, Atlas! I appreciate that about you.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!
