He directed one short scene (the driving to the pits with Dwight and dead Rafferty).  I have to wonder why he was involved at all.

Boru

Though a short scene he made, I told myself constantly that he was there in the background directing the directors

FTR, that is actor Tommy Flanagan and that is his natural speaking voice. Has appeared in Gladiiator, Braveheart, Alien vs Predator, 24, Westworld just to name a few I can think of.

He is a quite accomplished actor despite the "Glasgow smile" he was given by a gang when leaving his job as a DJ in a club in Glasgow. No mean feat in the Hollywood delusion of "beautiful people".

"suck on this you stupid slag" was one of the most badass things I ever heard, with that accent of course

Which is it, cut him or break him?

Einstein was a genius.

'Pulp Fiction' was terrific.  The rest of his catalogue, not so much.

Pulp Fiction was very good, but I think a lot of that is down to the actors.

I've seen it once and will die without seeing it again.

Inglorious Bastards was crap. Far inferior to the 80s Norwegian (I think) movie of the same name which I have also seen once in the late nineties.

‘Django Unchained’ is worth watching for Christoph Waltz, ‘The Hateful Eight’ is unwatchable.

Same here.  He's a lot like Samuel L. Jackson in the sense that ANY film is better with him in it.

Pulp fiction? Django ? Kill Bill ? face it: the guy provided a very different face to American movies, especially with Django -where he put white people as the main villain-.
