I have been unable to find any graffiti tributes to Tony Timpa online to include in a banner design. There are probably zero in the world....that may change however, fingers crossed.

I kind of like this one, and I wouldn’t object to include Timpa in it.

But let’s double-check the spelling before it goes to press. Smile

Timpa died because of another type of prejudice. Editz does not seem to acknowledge that either racism or prejudice against people with mental illness played a role in their respective murders. Perhaps you should not agree with his proposal given the message Editz is trying to make with this banner.
"Our attitudes towards things like race or gender operate on two levels. First of all, we have our conscious attitudes. This is what we choose to believe. These are our stated values, which we use to direct our behavior deliberately ... But the IAT [Implicit Association Test] measures something else. It measures our second level of attitude, our racial attitude on an unconscious level - the immediate, automatic associations that tumble out before we've even had time to think. We don't deliberately choose our unconscious attitudes. And ... we may not even be aware of them. The giant computer that is our unconscious silently crunches all the data it can from the experiences we've had, the people we've met, the lessons we've learned, the books we've read, the movies we've seen, and so on, and it forms an opinion." - Malcolm Gladwell

I'm going to cast my vote for NOT muddying the waters with virtue signaling with our banner. I'm not highly emotional about it I just think it is a waste of time. A better use of time would be to drum up money and actually contribute to a cause. Like a bake sale or something...

I feel like it's more of a nod that we give a shit than a virtue signal.

It would be nice to raise money for a cause.

That is what a virtue signal is but it does little else other than point to a position and say I agree with that. I understand why you want to do it I just think it is not necessarily the right move or even worthwhile. Your heart is in the right place at least. This nation is racist and has been for a while and it has drastically hurt many people.
