Changing the banner to promote BLM

RE: Changing the banner to promote BLM
If this wasn’t continually happening to black people, you might have a point. However, statistics show that white criminals are more likely to receive red carpet treatment from cops than black people. You, Editz, are part of the problem in this country.

Wrong wrong wrong. Maybe black deaths "catch the racism zeitgeist" so get reported/blown up more? Yes. Watch this: in the USA 70% of police killings are of whites and 25% are of blacks, but I recall that blacks make up abt 40% of prison inmates, so that overwhelmingly points to the fact that, proportionally, white criminals/arestables are faaar more likely to be killed by police than blacks, which utterly destroys the entire narrative behind BLM.

Oh, by all means, provide the statistical link for that which you accept as gospel.

What a load of intellectually vacuous buffoonery. The stats and articles you link do not support your statements at all as they quote the rates as a proportion of the entire population, not the criminals/arestables. Utterly pathetic.

Nope what bunch of facts you can't handle . Yes it does support my case . And your objection to the data is bollocks as no one cares about your arbitrary standard actual researchers have done the work . So no your objections to reality are what's pathetic dumbass

Post number 42 (the answer to life, the universe, and everything, by a happy coincidence) from me tells the whole story of this entire topic in one sentence and three statistics. It's game over for the veracity of BLM for anybody with more than two brain cells to rub together, baring wanton intellectual dishonesty.

Post facts that you simply don't like . Three statistics that does no such thing . Nope game over for you or the veracity of BLM for anybody with more than two brain cells to rub together, baring wanton intellectual dishonesty.

OK then: those links. I couldn't find the exact statistics I'd quoted, I hold my hands up there, I was just repeating what I'd heard. I have found statistics however which draw a more equitable yet still potent conclusion. Blacks criminals/arrestables no more likely to be killed by police than non-blacks.

First, taking the figures for 2019 - police killings of blacks make up around a third of total police killings. https://www.statista.com/statistics/5851...e-by-race/

Second, blacks make up around 40% of current prison population. https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/inca...e-u-s.html

So...well, lets ere on the side of caution and equality: police killings of black criminals/arrestables occur at a level which is to be expected if the police behaved in a colourblind way RE "opening fire"....all be it, tragically enough, an occasionally "trigger happy" colourblind way. Well done police, I guess. Kudos.
