Other than that I just wing it.

I have to admit, even with my safety net my late mother left me. I am still stuck on the "use the force Luke" method.

I could send you a blank copy, formulas included.

We have all of our bills paid via standing orders at the bank. The bank and whoever got paid   send an email after each payment confirming it was made. Once a month, we cross check the bank statement with the list of bills. Takes about ten minutes.

I’m buggered if I know why everyone doesn’t do it that way. It’s easy, free, and frees you from both worrying about whether a bill is paid and the drudgery of paying them manually.

I don't trust any US bank to pay that way. I tend to our bills and Boss Lady verifies.

I get an email from companies such as the water/garbage collection, cellphones, Internet, credit card, etc. I get the email and I go to their site (normally through a handy dandy link in the email) and I pay the bill. Even medical bills come through email and I pay through the link they provide.

The only one I have to remember is my car payment. But during the pandemic I have paid it down to where I only have four payments left and another one isn't due till the end of October.
