OAK studs? Fucking Doug Fir turns to iron in as little as 40 years. That old growth DF practically requires pre-drilled holes. I can't imagine what oak would be like.

I have lived in an antique long enough to have worn the novelty off of old shit... My idea of a "historical vehicle" was made in the 1990's....
