It is typical of the kind of law formed by a authoritarian and sadistic mindset confident that the world owes them a debt of gratitude for their own severity.
In other words a mindset very much like those of Steven Miller and other followers of trump who hails his abuse of immigrants.

I guess rape is a hot button topic. Technically everyone that has been drunk and had sex with someone that was also drunk is both guilty of rape, and a victim of being raped. At least according to certain legal systems, as being intoxicated is thought to remove ones ability to consent to sexual acts.

Doesn't matter what the crime is. If there's even a small chance that the justice system prosecutes the wrong guy and sentences an innocent person to death, there should be no death penalty. Period.

I'm already missing that fine fine Bangladesh porn.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I'm against the death penalty always.
I think prisons should be humane always. To this end they should be run by the government not a corporation!
Humans are worthwhile from an ROI perspective so even those that should not be free can be useful.
We should exploit them for labor like we do now.
This would give us the opportunity to release a wrongfully incarcerated person as well as get use from properly incarcerated people.
