I just can't see Usians being forced into lockdown against their wishes. Same with Europe.
Melbournians were tortured with their restrictions but it has paid off. Australia is now basically clean.

I think there'll be almost a civil war next year IF there is no vaccine made available for a quick fix.

The problem is evidence suggest immunity to COVID-19 is not permanent, and previously infected can be re-infected in a few months.   This suggest vaccine will only be a partial solution.   In any case even the partial solution will take months for enough doses of vaccine to be manufactured to dilute the pool of potential victims to diminish daily infection rate.

Trump loyalists will be unlikely to play along with a workable plan to control the vaccine.   They will actively resist and sabotage any control efforts prior to the vaccine in order to make Biden fail.    If vaccine proves effective in any degree, they will claim credit for trump and then also claim the vaccine would have been a complete solution but for Democrats kicking trump out of the office.

On the last point, I caution against being too complacent about trump being kicked out of the office.    I give 30% chance trump loyalist republicans will yet pull off a coup.    Having full confidence in the efficacy of our system of succession and order transition of power is to bury one’s head in the sand.    Orderly transition of power from now on will have to be fought for, and when fighting is involved most of the democrats are nearly as serious and determined as any shade of republicans.

Then there is a 30 percent chance you are a moron.

Trump lost the election to VP Biden.

VP Biden WILL be sworn into office and become president.

What kind of halfassed conspiracy do you think would enable President Trump to stay in office? You think Donny and Melania are going to barricade themselves on the Situation Room and hold seige?

It ain't happening.

My guess would be that Melania is already packed and ready to cash in that post-nup where she said she wouldn't divorce him while he was in office.

Agreed. I forget who, but someone in the Biden camp recently said, ‘Arresting trespassers is something the police are very, very good at.’

All appearances say all trump really has is about $400 million in net personal debt.   His family’s graft during the 4 years he squatted in the WH is very unlikely to match that.  Everything else in the trump empire of shell games probably net out to a negative value.    If he embezzle from his own shell games the attorneys  general in a lot of places will be highly motivated to find out.  Malenia will probably be able get little if anything if she bails now.

The Secret Service protects the current President of the United States. Even if he's only been the current President of the United States for 30 seconds. They have several escalating protocols for refusal to debunk from government housing when ordered to do so.

Well, clearly they don’t intend to arrest him yet. In a way, I kind of hope he doesn’t concede, so we can watch him be frog-marched out of the White House at 12:01PM, 20 January.

Debts aside, he does have significant assets, which could be liquidated to pay off the people he owes. Melania will be fine.

RE: President Biden
Soon-to-be “First Dogs” Champ and Major are quickly turning into canine celebrities as the Biden family’s two German shepherds debut their own social media account...

...Biden’s beloved furry friends will be the first dogs to live in the White House in four years since President Trump’s family chose not to bring one. Trump was the first commander-in-chief without a dog in over a century.

My guess is that dogs don't like Trump any more than he likes dogs.
