I very much doubt it'll be that bad, but an eventual worldwide death toll in the tens of millions wouldn't surprise me.

This will simply things greatly for historians.
I have long since hated the religious claim of Jesus being the center of the earth going around the sun knowing the age of our solar system.
I have a better system in mind. Earth should base it's calendar on ABBA's first Album.
Don't ask me why I posted this, ask yourself how many tons of rotten tomatoes you are thinking of in responding to this.
Fuck you.
ABBA had an album?

I would like the datum point for years be moved to the dawn of civilization. It would be near impossible to pick the exact year. With geologists wanting to mark humanity's effect on the geological record, along with surface features and chemical content, by creating a new age of the Holocene epoch called the Anthropocene, they should get together with archaeologists and anthropologists. Their work would give us a number that offers better perspective on history.
Zagar and Evans better get to work on a new song. 11,969 is gonna be super groovy.

First time I got to listen to a radio after boot camp, "In the Year 2525" was the first tune up. August, 1969.
