I know from their patterns and "lapses": for example you find that somebody's posts are always trying their best to cover up for Trump's crime and blame it on Muslims instead, the irony is that even international media says that Muslims are innocent from the crime, but with every topic you find the same member doing the same thing blaming the same party, that's a lapse, the lapse gets repeated over and over and over.

That's how detectives solve crimes in real life, the virtual world is no difference.
