I'm not sure that I understand your statement. I guess that the difference between "leftist" and "liberal" escapes my understanding. Please don't take this an attack. My training is in physics, not politics, though my one course in PolySci did expose me to a professor who loved to push Karl Marx.

A liberal wants to take money away from those who earned it and give it to those who didn' t. A leftist wants that too - but first they need to riot and burn down some buildings.....

Liberals, which dominate the Democratic Party, are essentially just culturally progressive conservatives. They agree with Republicans on 75% of economic issues. Leftists actually see American society through fiscal lens, and seek to improve the material conditions of the working class rather than sit around all day and play identity politics while keeping with the status quo, as liberals tend to do.

I can take a joke, I promise. But based on your posts here there was no reason for me to think you weren't completely serious. I think that would work as a joke if it were a clear exaggeration. But  millions of people would legitimately think that, because their preferred right-wing propaganda outlets condition them so.
