 Abso-bloody-lutely.

Had Foxtel for a bit. $65 a month or what I wanted. Even then I had to search forages to find something  I wanted, and thy had audacity to have ads---

I've had Netflix for a couple of years and think it's great. At $AU14 a month I think it's pretty good value..

So it ended for good. Unless

It was nice that they changed the settings from urban to a rural town.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

But he only kills bad people. That’s the catch. 😉

But how do we know they're bad people? We've only his word for it.

This kind of programming is highly problematic, it give's licence to those who go after paediatricians because they don't understand language.

Dexter is not a "hero", he's an anti-hero. Some people only enjoy watching fictional characters that are innocent and wholesome; Superman if you will. I know some people like that. Others enjoy that as well as flawed characters who are morally ambiguous. These characters are probably the most popular nowdays. If you don't enjoy such characters, then you won't be able to enjoy a lot of material because this sort of character is all over the place. If anything, I believe morally ambiguous characters do a much better job of making them relatable because few real humans are innocent beyond reproach. Most of us have our nasty side and don't relate that well to characters that are super duper goodies.
Why is it so?

I’m sorry, I’m not quite following you.

They could recon a bit. Logan shoots Dexter in the head and the rest of the episode is a dream. The season was reasonable good prior to the scuffle between Logan and Dexter.

This means Batista can eventually confront Dexter. They could work on Harrison as Dexter-lite.

And Bobby can then step out of the shower.

Right.  Michael C Hall like Bret Spiner and Harrison Ford wanted to stop being known as their popular character so much they do not mind killing off the character and damaging the overall story.

Killing a totally good person is not something Dexter ever did. He made some questionable kills of three morally mixed individuals over the series. He had angst about one of them. And, there  the kill was arguably in self-defense.  He killed some thuggish guy in a bar bathroom with no idea of his previous bad acts, and a crooked ex-cop.  Otherwise he killed murderers.

A dream of a a few hour sequence is much better than a dream of an entire season where the dream included elements not relevant to the dreamer.  One is more plausible than the other. I would prefer a little lameness to counteract a bad ending.

They tried to rectify the conflict by giving him comeuppance turning is own code against him, but it was way too rushed.

We did see a copycat killer in real life.  Why was Dexter so popular? There could be some odd adverse effects of any art with dark content. Should that all me off limits?
