Oh this is upsetting to me, but I just learned half the crap I put in the dishwasher should always be hand washed. This includes but is not limited to plastics (even if they claim to be dishwasher safe) and anything with a wood handle or made entirely of wood. Think

I've long known that trees can split in extreme cold, caused by the sap freezing and expanding while the wood contracts. What I didn't know is that the Sioux and Cree natives called the first new moon of the new year, 'the moon of the cold exploding trees'.

Say what you will about indigenous Americans, but they're some descriptive motherfuckers.

The distracted driver who struck (and very nearly killed) author Stephen King in 1999 was found dead of a fentanyl overdose on 21 September the following year. Which just happened to be King’s 53rd birthday.
