I reminded myself today you can’t grab fire.

(I work as a dental lab tech. We use alcohol torches and bunsen burners. My brain derped when I reached for my torch...I “grabbed” the flame of my bunsen burner instead lol).

In the US, the jack rabbit was originally called the 'jackass rabbit', due primarily to having proportionately longer ears than other rabbits, just as donkeys have proportionately longer ears than horses.

I've been using an archaic or outright inaccurate definition of 'civil war' for years, based on a news article I read years ago that I can't even remember the source for. Last night I actually looked it up.
