Yes, the majority of these are multi-part episodes, and not only are the vast majority more than an hour long, but the more recent episodes are frequently over two hours long. Long road to travel.

After helping my daughter with homework today, we learned what a rhombus and a parallelogram is and when one is the same as the other and when it's not.

I learned that the Inland taipan is actually considered to be the world's most venomous snake as far as drop for drop toxicity goes.
The Saw-scaled viper is responsible for the most deaths.

I guess either could be regarded as "World's Deadliest Snake", depending on the criteria.

We get back to the ute and a baby Taipan comes out from underneath, reared up, quite fast.
We killed it and then I saw another in the grass.
So we decided there might be a mum if there's more than one baby about.
I mean, I know fuck all about Taipans.
But the car doors were open and the possibility that it might be in the ute, fuck me, scariest fucking car drive home ever. :-)

We had an Indian feller in my home town named Ram Chandra and he was the Taipan Man.
He had a snake side show and he travelled all the schools when I was a kid.
When I was 18 I dated his niece for a bit and I got to meet him a few times and check out his huge snake collection.
He did a lot for venom research, a great man.

I think there are a few snake species that will stick around and protect their eggs and their babies for a very brief spell after they've hatched. Don't know if the Taipan's one of those though.
