WHy does it matter?

I'm not the climate change expert here, but for one, if we don't have enough time to comfortably adapt to the environmental changes, we're going to have a harder and harder time surviving as a species. The more the average temperature increases within a relatively short period of time, the more difficult it becomes for us to survive the increasingly severe effects of the rise.

Why? More natural resources will be available as result of global warming. Canada will become warmer so there will be more land to grow food.

You realize that much of Canada is boggy ground, right? And I would ask what happens to the land that is no longer able to sustain agriculture? You are assuming a net gain in arable land when that's not at all a justified assumption.

Why do you think there will be less arable land?

You think global warming won't affect the current tillable acreage?
