For a eco-car derided for woeful lack of power, Toyota Prius seem well capable of defending itself.   It has crushed to death at least 16 thieves who got under one to steal its apparently particularly valuable catalytic converters

I hear such thefts mentioned on "On Patrol: Live".

Related: State Farm Insurance Company created a crime wave when they started allowing "used" air bags to replace expended ones. The traffic is "used" air bags was brisk for a while.

Now, I'm aware of what those are, but Boy Howdy, I did not know that /they/ were going to make it illegal to leave your assigned "district". Imagine my shock!

Only if all of your income is reported by third parties such as an employer, bank, brokerage, etc.

For the vast majority of workers this is true. It becomes less true the less your income depends on such sources. I had a stock transaction where only the sale was reportable, IRS has no way of knowing what the cost basis was. Yes, the area is rife with fraud.
